Five years ago I was pulling espresso shots as a barista. I taught myself design on the side as a passion project — and it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made.

Since then I've built design systems from scratch, shipped monetization and checkout experiences for a global streaming service, and led research-driven redesigns for an app used by millions daily.

My business degree shapes how I work: I care as much about why a design should exist — the conversion, the retention, the cost it saves — as how it looks.

I'm still that person who learns things for the love of it. Lately, that means product psychology, motion design, and building AI (Claude) into my everyday design workflow.
